About Dr. Foto
Originally from Cameroon, West Africa, Dr. Foto’s journey reflects an extraordinary commitment to education, service, and excellence. After completing his studies at St. Joseph’s College Sasse and the Cameroon College of Arts, Science and Technology, he earned his dental degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, where he was awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship.
He later continued his academic career in the United States, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with distinction as the sole recipient of the National Boards Merit Award for Academic Excellence.
Dr. Foto then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Washington, training at world-renowned facilities including Harborview Medical Center, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Ziekenhuis Hospital in the Netherlands. He also earned Fellowship status in the West African College of Surgeons, a rare honor reflecting deep surgical expertise and leadership in his field.
